Ashleigh Wenban (Ash)
Counselling Psychologist
Hi, my name is Ash, and I am a Counselling Psychologist. I completed my Bachelor of Psychology with Honours, in 2013 and Master of Psychology (Counselling Psychology) in 2018 at Curtin University. Since graduating, I have practiced in both Government organisations and private practice. Currently, I am the principal psychologist at Process Psychology.

A bit about me, I typically like to think of myself as down-to-earth and easy-going. I have many (many!) different interests and passions which I often use to help me connect with my clients. I place a strong focus on building an authentic, trusting, and honest connection with clients. It can be a daunting task making the jump to start therapy so it is important to me that I try and help to make the transition for people as comfortable as possible.

My therapeutic process is to help people to identify, strengthen and reinforce their helpful patterns of behaviour while also supporting people to identify their unhelpful patterns. These unhelpful patterns of behaviour can lead to challenges with our mental health and relationships with others. We will then work together to make purposeful, meaningful change to these patterns to achieve their mental health goals.

So, if this sounds like something that may work well for you, let’s meet! We can get to know one another and figure this whole therapy thing out together. Click the button below to send an enquiry.
